We just moved to Cincinnati and we were looking for a Vet that would accept New Patients and TAAH exceeded our expectations. They were knowledgeable and very friendly. They helped us with a few issues that had been going on with our pet and I am so excited that we chose this vet! They are awesome!
You can always tell a good animal hospital when you are first greeted by the staff. Are they happy to be there? That good nature trickles down from the doctor, always. I have had so many good experiences over the years at TAAH, too numerous to mention. But always excellent care, and consideration of my financial situation when it was necessary. 5 STARS. You can really trust them.
Dr. Laura and her staff have been taking care of our furry family members for several years. Our sweet little Phoebe becomes a beast when around people other than family. She's a mixed breed, but we were told her mama was a Rottweiler. Based on her behavior, I suspect her daddy was a chihuahua. Basically, she's a nervous wreck who lashes out when she's anxious. She has a reputation that she's difficult and I suspect there's a hint of apprehension among the staff when she's on the calendar. However, during our last visit, Ashley made an extra effort to make Phoebe fell comfortable, and it worked. She's never been so calm. It's hard to believe she's the same dog. Where is this rambling review going? Simply put, the staff at Tennessee Animal Hospital will love your pet and treat them as if they were their own, even if your furry family member is a handful.

It's a very long drive for us but our girls had been seeing her for over 8 years. We lost our Sadie unexpectedly on Oct 12th. Doc was, as always very caring of us during this very difficult time. She also took very good care of our girl!! 😇 Sadie was a sweet people dog and wanted everyone's hands on her all the time. I highly recommend if your looking for a caring vet for your babies. Sadie is cream color and Ruby is red. Went in with 3 dogs 🐕 left with 4!! 10-7-23 Peanut 🥰

I have had a very good experience with Tennessee Avenue Animal Hospital. They got me in quickly with my little doggie Lewis. They put him at ease immediately and worked with him closely to put him at ease.
I had such a great experience at Tennessee Avenue Animal Hospital! Despite being a new client this business was able to see my pup on short notice. Everyone was real friendly and showed compassion during Toby’s visit for both myself and him. To my surprise, Toby (my dog) who isn’t very nice took a liking to the staff which is a plus. I also appreciated all of the time the vet and staff took to answer all of my questions, as well as recommending and educating me on different methods to manage my dog’s pain and with performing the procedure he needed. Thanks again to you all!

Wonderful experience! We are new to the area and my German shepherd got sick. Khyler is very anxious and the staff here was amazing! They took the time to make her comfortable first with lots of love and treats and then they performed the exam and never even mentioned a muzzle! They have a reasonable office fee and also helped me get the best possible price on her antibiotics. The entire staff was just a pleasure to deal with. And a special shout out to Ashley! Thank you girl! Ashley went above and beyond to show us kindness and provide the best possible care. she was also very knowledgeable and even provided a detailed estimate of what I could expect at my next visit. Thank you all for taking such good care of my girl! And Khyler is just happy there were no shots required!
I was very happy to find TAAH for my ferret Ouizl. They take excellent care of her, and have the most reasonable prices I have seen. I'm extra lucky to have them fairly close to home, too. Dr. Laura explains things thoroughly, and lets me know what is needed, and what the options are, as well as what things will cost. The assistants and office staff are friendly and helpful.
My dog is anxious and difficult—and six months ago she had a very bad experience at a different vet in the area, so I sought a second opinion from these guys and I am so glad I did. They have been so patient and sweet with my dog (even when she is snarling like she wants to maybe murder them) and the techs, the staff, and the vets have all demonstrated more empathy and gentleness than I've ever seen from a veterinary office—and I used to work as a vet tech in my twenties, so I have a context. I am so grateful for how careful, reassuring, and humane they have been with me and my dog. Thank you so much. It means to world to know that you guys can help us through a crisis.
I came in as a new patient with a found kitten. This place was fantastic. They worked with my budget. Super friendly staff, great vet, easy to get an appointment. They helped administer the first dose of the kittens meds while there.
I had been going to another vet for years and when they closed unexpectedly I had no idea where to begin. I called so many clinics that had 2+ month wait lists for new patients. My 22 year old cat was not necessarily having an emergency, but needed to be seen sooner rather than later. The amazing staff at Tennessee Ave. was able to squeeze us in for a visit. I went to their facility fully expecting to be told my cat only had a few days left. They gave her the works and literally saved her life. I learned so much and they walked me through how to give sub q fluids to my cat on my own. I truly believe if I took her to an emergency clinic they would have just tried to put her down. I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff for giving my cat a chance to live her remaining time in comfort! If you are looking for a skilled and comprehensive vet staffed by friendly, empathetic people; this is your place.
I have been using TAAH for a very long time, through a history of many dogs. I always feel secure in the expertise of the doctors, the tech staff and the office staff. Very professional staff, yet very personable and congenial. Dogs like it too!
